The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

So I heard somewhere on this site that the turbo putt was going to be made illegal by the PDGA. I tried to find anything official on this without success. Anyone got anything on this topic?

I think it was already made illegal. That's why they have to give a date of when it "was" PDGA approved.
I'm pretty sure that the actual putter named "Turbo" (as a model name) is illegal because of it's chain-grabbing edge configuration. The style of putting called "turbo" won't be.
I thought it was the Turbo Putter by Gateway. Not the ability to turbo putt that was banned?
OK I thought he meant the turbo putter. sorry guys
Here's the link to the Approved Discs Document
The "turbo" putter is illegal. The style of putting known as turbo has never been, nor ever will be in question of becoming illegal!!!
this disc is illegal, the putting style is not.
I guess I should make sure the PDGA has the document behind the link before I post.
yep, thats what she said.
Thanks everyone. I was a little worried by the concept of making a throwing style illegal.
