Permalink Reply by David Nordenmalm on February 23, 2012 at 9:45pm I havent been playing for that long but i would use my Star Dart or my Star Marino Roc thats well broken in, it all depends on how the wind is affecting my shot. If there isnt any wind or it is at my back i like to throw the Dart, it just seems to be more graceful in the air and stops where it lands, even if I throw anhyzer and it doesnt flatten out it will usually stay but and not get a nasy roll out. If the wind is against me, well ill Roc it up
Permalink Reply by Rob Toltzman on February 23, 2012 at 11:12pm I throw my Super Roc straight at it from 200' and in.

Permalink Reply by Bruce Brakel on February 23, 2012 at 10:15pm Being an old Frisbee player, I prefer a line drive with a soft understable putter.
Permalink Reply by Hippy on February 23, 2012 at 10:24pm Straight at it!!!! Depending on obstacles of course!!!! I always throw at it!!!!
Permalink Reply by Christian Lamb on February 23, 2012 at 11:48pm Do you throw it straight and flat or with nose up? I've recently noticed a lot of guys throwing straight w/ nose up and the disc just stays in the air forever and stalls right at the basket. Beautiful and effortless looking shot, but I haven't been able to duplicate it.
Permalink Reply by Rob Toltzman on February 24, 2012 at 12:07am I learned playing catch with a Frisbee, slightly with nose up. Air bounce like for the stall.
Permalink Reply by Hippy on February 24, 2012 at 6:47am With a little nose up!! So it just floats right in there!!!! Use my putter!!! With a nice soft landing!!! Once again depending on situation!!! Lambo try playing a round with just your putter!!!! I think it will help in that part of your game!!!!! You know me I love my putters!!!
Permalink Reply by Christian Lamb on February 24, 2012 at 8:47pm It helps, and it might be eye-opening. The first time I played putters only was a complete accident. I thought my bag was in the car, but when I got to the course I only had a pair of new putters. Being lazy, I didn't want to drive home and played putter only. I scored pretty well, and learned that if I put enough height on the shot, I could get pretty decent distance with them. The nose up stall is a great shot to have in the bag, I'm still working on it myself.
Permalink Reply by Christian Lamb on February 26, 2012 at 7:12pm Threw a few holes w/ putters today to warm up before handis and was so surprised to be parking holes about 280 - 300ft. You might be on to something Hippy! :)
