The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Wednesday, October 7, begins several days of live disc golf Web-TV coverage of the PDGA's United States Disc Golf Championships (USDGC).

You can sign up and pay a donation to watch (recommended) or you can just sign up for free. We signed up and we're really looking forward to coverage beginning today (Wednesday, at about 11:15 am Eastern time.

As we wait to watch the coverage, there is a camera aimed at the tee for one of the holes and it is fun watching players warm up and greet each other. Don't miss out on this very significant disc golf event!

the Twisted Flyer ace was on hole #3 and just one day of the event. There was a nice ace pool on Saturday that was at $970 the last time I saw the sign, and I don't think there were many, if any other aces.

As for fleshing out all the cool stories of the USDGC, that's pretty tough. There's relatively little "media" coverage on site and those that were there were very focused on specific jobs – like they IPTV coverage or the blog posts that were listed on the front page of usdgc.com. In fact, it seemed like there were fewer still camera photographers on the course than I've seen in years past.

So, unless you hear it straight from the player or get it from the IPTV coverage, those stories are probably not going to get heard.
Jeremy-

Tom Kim from Maryland was carrying a Zephyr in his new Dual Pack Lite. Not sure if it got used, but it was on the course!

Way cool!! I understand more and more pros are starting to carry a Zephyr in their bag. Go SUPERCLASS!!
I tried to play Winthrop with a Zephyr yesterday. I only had one with me and they didn't have any in the pro shop so I could get a backup. I lost it trying to cross the water on my 6th throw on hole 5 and might have been just 6 over course par after 5 holes. But had to finish the round with the Roc and Coyote I had as backups so no Super Class score there.
Nice.
Wow !!!! this is awesome to see disc golf live
