Vandalism Alert!

As many of you already know, the Black Butte Lake course has recently been the victim of two episodes of vandalism by an individual who is cutting limbs and trimming branches with a chain saw (ie Hole #11)! Not only is this against the very tenants of our sport, it is also a federal offense as we are on Federal Property. This cannot stand!

 

Yesterday I recieved a phone call from the Rangers who told me they had reports of an individual using a chain saw on the course again yesterday! They were unable to apprehend anybody, but they did see a white van leaving the scene as they arrived. They are as fully concerned as we are with protecting the integrity of our course and want this illegal activity stopped ASAP!

 

If you EVER see or hear anybody on the course using power tools (and it is not me), please call one of the phone numbers listed below and get the appropriate officials out there asap so that we can apprehend the offending individual, prosecute him/her for this crime and stop the vandalism on our course. Please help protect our course!

Makes you wonder...What's the point of trying? And yours are metal poles right? How can you poach one of those...and what would you do with it anyway? Again, WTF?

Bummer, even worse. It's an inside job. Why would any disc golfer feel compelled to do something like this? I just don't get people.

DG is suppose to be a challange if you take away all the ogjects and trees you might as well play in the parking lot, some people will do anything to lower the score...DOAH!!!!!!!
