ventura county disc golfers?

I go to school at CLU (in thousand oaks) and love playing disc golf. I am from northern california and have one of the best courses right in my back yard at home (bidwell park course, Chico CA) All that is in this town is the kids course at the YMCA. Im getting tired of throwing at my practice basket. I have been to the course in sylmar and chavez ridge in downtown LA.

Thousand Oaks is in the process of adding a very nice championship course. However, that project may take a year or two to complete. In the meantime, the course at Lake Casitas in Ventura would be the closest.

There is a monthly this Saturday in Goleta at the Evergreen Course. I know a lot of the Ventura area golfers play here as well. It will give you a chance to meet some area golfers.
