Permalink Reply by RAY :[24Chains]: on April 6, 2009 at 1:40pm take the time to hit new quarter park outside williamsburg- probably not too much more of a drive than mundens point from most of va beach- easily the best course in tidewater.

Permalink Reply by RAY :[24Chains]: on April 7, 2009 at 9:33am hey now,Newport News has a dgc as well. Not that far away to play. Played Bayville Park back in '77-79,probably has changed somewhat.Think Steady Ed had some input originally when it went into ground.Enjoy.Peace

Permalink Reply by mr ed on April 8, 2009 at 3:58pm bayville has had a couple of holes added and upgraded some equipment as well as adding some longer tees but you can still play the original steady ed design there. second oldest basket course on the east coast.
i would rank the courses in tidewater as follows:
1. new quarter
2. ace run ranch
3. newport news
4. bayville
5. bennett's creek
6. mundens point
