Wanting to throw some Discraft

Hello All Discrafters,

I am wanting to broaden my horizons a bit and get in to some Discraft discs. I'm not really looking to replace any of my putt, approach, or mid-range discs. However, I do feel my bag may be missing a few shots that I could possibly fill with some Discraft discs.

I have been throwing the following:

BH Distance - 168 Pro Boss
FH Distance - 172 DX Destroyer
Control - 169 Star Valkyrie
Turnover - 175 Star Roadrunner

Any suggetions?

Sam, I throw forehand rollers with an Elite X Xpress...and I love my ESP Drone for controled mid-range flex shots--its wickedly overstable and great for headwinds...get up to Santa Fe and lets huk a round!

oh, use a Z Flick for forehands and thumbers (tamahawks)

Z-Predators work well for Thumbers and Forehand shots also.

I use my Xpress for backhand roller shots since it is really easy to turn over. For forehand rollers I use anything that is overstable in my bag. The reason for that is forehand throws generate a lot of snap and spin and forehand is easy for anyone to turn over. Turn over I mean turn into an anyhyzer flight. So forehand rolling is generally easier to learn by just rolling your wrist over. If you did that with any type of straight to anyhyzer type disc, it would just flop and turn over way too fast. Even roller shots exhibit stable and understable paths, thus requiring different stability discs for BH and FH rollers.

FH Distance- Force/Pulse/Flick/Nuke/Reaper
Control - Surge SS/Flash
Turnover - dunno with Discraft, some say the Z Glide or stratus, I say get a Latitude 64 Vision

But the most important Discraft disc is the Buzzz. I prefer Flx plastic.

I have a pro avenger ss that turns over really well and is also good for rollers.

Anything overhand Z flick
Forehand roller Z crush

For your Distance try a Z or ESP Nuke

For controlled Distance try a Z or ESP Flash

For your turn overs and maybe even backhand rollers you could try an Avenger SS
