I was hoping someone could explain what the differences are in the 'Eagle' molds and how to identify them (ie, Eagle X?). I mainly throw Eagles in Champion plastic and am trying to figure out which ones i prefer and how to find them. thanks!

There are only two modern molds (as far as I know). Eagle E, and Eagle EL. I think some people call the E, X, because it's more overstable and has a concave wing. The L mold has a flat wing and is less overstable.
It's pretty easy to tell the difference between the two by feeling the wing ... if it's flat it's an EL. If it's concave, it's an E.

Not sure if Innova is still making the EL, but there are a LOT of them out there.

I've never seen an Eagle marked EX ... not that that means there aren't some out there ... it happens. It's probably just an E.

I have this 'glow eagle'. I'll try to get a pic of the profile for you later. Flight-wise it's pretty stable (for me).
I have a Star eagle X. I love it casue it says S.E.X. on the backside of the disc under the weight.
So many. Dx is always a good choice. The older Pro plastic was awesome. Star is pretty good . Champion is very durable.
