I'm from the Metro Detroit area, and have yet to travel beyond it, but here are my top 5 in no particular order

1) Hudson Mills (both courses are good)
2) Kensington
3) Addison oaks
4) Stoney Creek (aka The Buckhorn)
5) Holly Woods

6th place goes to Grizzly Oaks located at Oakland University

Also, I've been wanting to try out the Independence Lake Courses and was wonders how they compare to the course listed above...

1-BLUE GILL. Private course maintained by the living legend Joe Gill.
2-FLIP CITY. Private course maintained by Bill McKenzie
3-LEVIATHAN. Hardest public course in this great state.
4-BRATS. Private course maintained by my idol and world record holder Ben Calhoun.
5- this spot is shared by Toboggan, Mason County Park (Beauty, Beast, Goliath), Oshtemo (long tees), Hammond Hill, Branstrom, and Meyer Broadway (two courses).

3.) Meyer Broadway (north and south)
4.) Leviathan
5.) Cold Brook

*Note: I haven't played Hudson Mills, Hickory Hills, Hanson Hills, BRATS, or Independence.
I played the chuck D. course at independence lake yesterday at it was a GREAT course. It offers all the best facets of Michigan disc golf.
