I just picked up a new Champion Beast today. It's been a long time since I threw a Beast. When it came out it was THE distance driver but there have been several distance drivers released since then, so I was wondering if experienced players still throw their Beast on occasion and what shots do you like to use it for? Just curious.

Forehand thru tight lines- if I have a tight shot I'll pull out a relatively new champ Beast and pop it without a lot of arm swing and hope it doesn't fade at the end too much.
Tailwind distance with some turnover. 171 Champ.

Backhand roller into a headwind.
Speaking as an old guy, I have begun recently to back down in weight a bit lately. I have never thrown Beasts until this week. I got a mid 160's Star Beast. I am blown away by its flight characteristics. I can pop it with a little anhyzer and it will flatten and drift a bit and then glide a bunch and it will not hork out with major hyzer as it ends its flight. I prefer Star to Champ plastic for the grip and feel I get. I burned a tightly wooded 350' shot yesterday on Hornet's Nest #12 after a poor drive right up to the pin. Okay, no I am not selling Innova products, I am just all fired up about finding this awesome disc after overlooking it for years.
Peace-out.Stan
i use it for trading to get a better disc.
I have an oil leak and I put it under my car so it doesn't get on my driveway.
I bought a old used one. I use it for drives over water.
no doubt...
backhand turnover, my beast is flippy second run champion purple swirl
backhand hyzer flips to dead straight
Keep this Discraft-lovin comment to yourself!! :) The beast is a great disc.
