What happens to stolen baskets? Do people put them in their backyard courses? Are they sold hole or for scrap? 9 baskets have been stolen from Pierce county (WA) this year. WTF? Anyone hear of people selling used baskets?

This is great news and terrible news.
I assume its mostly morons who steal them for some sort of pleasure destroying somthing nice. They probably throw them in the woods. Its the same group of idiots who destroy our signs on the course, I think we are down to 6 or 7 signs left. No one has stole a basket yet from our course but a bunch of young kids made bird houses and painted them and hung them in the trees at our course, they made it maybe a week, and there they lay, on the ground all busted up?

Some people just have no respect, I mean come on, young kids did that for a school project.
