What hole at what course always eats your Lunch???!!!

No matter how many times you've played it, no matter how much you work on different approaches, you just can't seem to Par it.  Every once in a while you do, and it feels like a birdie.  What hole on what course is it for you?, kinda describe it.

 

Hole 6 at Bear Creek, Grapevine TX. 340 short tee, or 430 long tee, no matter what tee, the shot is damn near impossible to drive cleanly.  clouded with very low hanging trees.  if you make that, you have to dodge a number of trees in the "Gap", if you make that, you need your disc to turn at 315ft. turns short your in the thick of it, turns too late its in the creek, and its a right turn.  you can't roll it because there is a huge hole about 100ft from the tee box.  you have to have dead-on accuracy and one hell of an arm to attempt a tomahawk to clear the tall treeline that runs the entire right and left side of the "Gap".

Hole 6 bear creek, thats exactly what I thought when you posted this. You gotta have 2 great throws to par. Can't imagine anyone ever getting a birdie on that hole... you forgot to mention that the short tee box has about a 12 inch drop off the front.. My friend broke his ankle teeing off of that box last year...

We have a beginner's course about 20 miles North from us (Ned Houk Park). This is usually a great place to play for a confidence boost. Anyways, it seems like the really short easy holes always "eat my lunch." I'm talking 150' to 200' holes that should be a given birdie, and I'm tricking off my birdie putts every time. It really kills my score every time.

Hole 10 at West Thompson in N. Grosvenordale, CT. 650 ft par 4 O.b running up the entire right side of the 50 foot wide fairway. In recent memory I can think of only one time I've gotten par on this hole..

Th hole that I call the Equalizer is the long position on hole 16 here at Cottonwood. There is a fairly narrow fairway if you think that you can hit it. If you do hit it then you basically need another good drive to get to the hole. Others choose to go to the left behind the swamp and then over the top of the big trees with a bomber shot to the hole. Either way I have never "parred" it and even in league if you get out with a four you won't be too angry. I have had a par putt on it one time and boy there was a bit of pressure on that putt. Has to be over 600 feet and uphill.

Hole 6 Pro Tee Kincaid DGC This hole has eaten my lunch then puked it on me more times than i can remember. my worst on it is a 9 during a tournament that put me out of the running for a placement .The hole is close to 500 with a grove of guardian tree's on the right side of fairway with tree's and a lovely bush called devils club on left side .A clean 300 ft drive puts you behind the Rside trees with no real look, then the hole doglegs left with 200 ft left to a hanging basket that sways and swings in the winds common to kincaid .a real bitch of a hole in good conditions from the Pro tees .My doubles partner has aced the hole from the am tees

I got my prettiest drive with a roadrunner on hole #6. Got it to the clearing 50 feet out of basket. And still managed to tard it up and take a 4. JD you have got to check us out on DiscGolfDallas.com I can bet there is a bunch of guys you have thrown with before. I play Bear Creek at least twice a week.
