Do you worry about the color when Disc is chosen?
I choose the orange or red recently if I am the same weight. If it is you, is what color Disc chosen though the flight seems to be different according to the color?

My pink disc flies farther than all my other discs. Does that make me gay?
Green is my favorite color. If I have a choice between equal discs, I choose Green.
Neon Yellow , Green , Orange .Because I like to see my disc's fly to be able to tell what I may have done wrong in the way of release and trigger point. Seems im playing a lot in the twilite hours ,these colors help me to see and to locate my shot.
Good Thread

All things being equal I would pick Pink, Its easy to find in all seasons and pretty much all terrain.

The color affecting flight issue really comes down to the environemental conditions at the moment of that run. Lets say its humid on monday when they ran 8 hours worth of Red Bosses. It takes longer for them to cool, and the result is a bigger dome. Dome being bigger makes them more stable than the 8 hours worth of Yellow ones the next day where the humidity was lower and they cooled faster with less dome.

Anyway in the beginning until all the Reds and Yellows sell out and they make subsequent runs of each color, it will seem like all the reds are domey because they are red, when in fact its because they were made that particular day. Its why some models its the pink ones are popular while others its the reds and so on. Whatever the trait you are after, you'll like the disc color run the day the environmental conditions made that happen.
Thanks for the explanation Matt, makes even more sense now.
On the pink thing...... im thinking hot pink is pretty sweet for a disc (ive seen some Elite-Z discs in this colour), but not Star plastic pink? Using that same logic, you could say that you should buy a pink bag so you can pick it out from all the other peoples bags at a tourney.....hmmm... lol, just kidding!

I actually have a pink Star Firebird in my (black & grey) bag, but i got it brand new for $5, and that was the only colour the seller had... d'oh!
I have a friend in the club who has his entire bag full of pink right down to the putters. It looks like one of those revo display shots where all the discs are one color. The backups in his car all pink as well. He swears by their visibility. I fill special orders all the time for him. We always joked we'd make him carry the pink bag as soon as someone produced one.

I think Revo is making a dual pack in pink now or has one planned, but that probably takes a little committment to pink than he's willing.
As a condition of choosing Disc
1It chooses by the color.
2It chooses by weight.
3It chooses in the manufacturer.
4It chooses by the material.
5It chooses by the feeling.
6Others
Are there a lot of people who choose by a favorite color though it is thought that there are various ways to choose if the condition of selecting it for myself is suitable?
Though it is thought that the difference certainly goes out to the flight characteristic.
