Do you worry about the color when Disc is chosen?
I choose the orange or red recently if I am the same weight. If it is you, is what color Disc chosen though the flight seems to be different according to the color?
So how many Iron Maiden shirts do you own? If Iron Maiden came out with an album of county & western ballads would you burn them all?
Hot pink is the best color to find. Sometimes your disc buries in the weeds/bushes/leaves and only a tiny sliver of the disc is visible. If that sliver is pink you likely find it. I too like the brightest colors. Blue works well along with the red variations (orange & pink).
My bag at the moment is stuffed with red, orange and pink. They are usually easy to find in the rough but hard to distinguish in the bag. At least once a round I get that sinking feeling when I can't find a disc and wonder if I lost it. It actually is in the bag, I just can't find it because there are so many other similar colors.
My best long distance anhyzer driver is a mustard yellow Rogue. Anhyzers, of course, bend out of sight and bury (hyzers skip on top). Mustard yellow is not a great color to find in the weeds/bushes/leaves. I have spent a lot of time searching for that disc. I would get rid of it if it didn't fly so well.
white star so i can dye something bad ass on it. i can lose any color disc so i don't base it on that. if i cant find a white star i go with what i don't currently have i my bag so i can quickly differentiate between them........ holy shit i just spelled checked and aparently i spelled that right on my first try!
My favorite color is my Black Gateway Wizard, and my Black/Dark Purple E Blurr with a White pinstripe Peace symbol, however it really sucks trying to find these 2 discs.
Otherwise I try to use all of the bright neon colors, Yellow, Green, Orange. The brighter the better!!!
I also like these new Latitude 64 discs, it doesn't really matter what color they are as long as the sun is out. They have such a high gloss that they really stand out! I wish all the companies would get that shine on there discs.
I don't really have a favorite color. It's more like what colors do I stay away from. I tend not to use colors that are hard for me to find, like tie-dies or blacks or charcoal grays. Other then that, if the disc feels good in my hand when I purchase it then it makes no difference to me what color it is.
