What is this disc like?....

Iwant to start a disc review forum.  The idea is that you post one disc that you have not tried, and would like to know about.  I would suggest asking about less used discs (So not buzzz, roc, etc.)  You post the one disc, and the direct replies to the disc will be reviews, or what you might compare it too.

 

I will start the first one.  Hopefully this will help expand peoples knowledge outside of the regulars of disc golf.

I would like to know about the DiscMania line. Mostly durability of it. I throw Champion and Z plastics, so I wanna know if they can keep up with those particular type.

Discmania is made by innova so d line is dx p line is pro and s line is star so far no champ(c line, except for cfr stuff but it is supposed to be coming this year) most molds are existing innova wings with discmania's top (pd is firebird wing craze is viking wing, frenzy is katana wing ,fiend is a tweeked mako wing, rush is a modified roadrunner etc.)

In reply to Mark: Flazer was one of the coolest discs I've ever owned two of(both got stolen). I had both colors. High speed understable with not much glide before falling back left. I threw one 450' when all I could get out of other drivers of the time was 400'. Pete Stravopulos tried to catch a skip, but cut himself anyway.

I would like to Know about the Groove.

Our local Dicks Sporting Goods had an over abundance of Groove's in stock last year.  So, I happen to know quite a few Disc Golfers, including my son, who own this disc.  I have yet to encounter one that likes it at all. 

The Groove has a channel in the rim like a Monarch.  However, with the wide rim  it is difficult for me to get a confortable grip. Might be a good disc if you have both large hands and a strong throwing arm.  I feel that the Destroyer, and/or Boss would be a better choice then the Groove.

I traded mine for a rpro katana, the groove just did not work for me.

Really fast disc.  I think the groove has gone farther then any other disc I have thrown.  My Champion Groove is like a well worn ESP NUKE.  I took it out of my bag because it is a little difficult to control.  If I put some power behind the disc, although going long distances, it was too hard for me to know how much it would flip.
