What is your most underrated disc you carry?

I was wondering what disc or discs in your bag do you think are really underrated by you or by others you play with.

I have to say for me it would be a discraft hawk. I really never hear anybody talk about it and I have been ask a few times why I throw it. I throw it because I have confidence in it and it flies really well. It is great for those tight tee shots under 300'.I think the main reason is that it is made in the cheaper pro-d plastic but it really is a great disc. I sometimes find myself reaching for it before I reach for my buzz.

Discraft's X-Clone : the weight doesn't matter to me, these have been discontinued and are hard to find in decent shape, I use these for rollers on nice open level fairways.

TeeRex : for a tomahawk, when I need it to get between some trees and skim face down and slide an extra 30 feet to the basket.

I hear you on that. I bought a few Champ Whippets a few years back. The most overstable disc I've ever thrown!

I'd have to say my Aero, and my HX-2 (#2 Helix). I don't know anyone else that throws an Aero over an Aviar, and I haven't seen anyone else throw an HX-2. In fact me and my buddy Jason are the only two people I know that like Lightning discs. But I overpower the HX-2 bad now so I gave it to a friend of mines girlfriend. I plan to get me another in the mid 160s soon.

These guys are right about the latitude 64 discs. Awesome plastic, feel great in the hand, and perform easily as good as any other disc manufacturers. People like DiscCraft for their consistency, I think Latitude 64 has better consistency than even they do. Quality control at latitude 64 is second to none.

I do agree with you about the HX-2. I throw this disc When I want a good straight flight with a little comeback. I also use the HX-1 and for a good turnover disc, the D-4. Lightning has some good plastic and flight plates. But my most favorite disc is still 180 gr. Millennium Aurora MS. This disc keeps a line better than any other. Even though I throw light drivers, the Aurora 180gr. flies like as true and straight with little fade. Will also hold a hyzer and a pan shot as well. Even works well with a approach flick. With that said, check out this HX-2 shot I made. Couldn't believe I stuck in the bank so deep. Hadn't rained in 8 wks. and the the bank was dry.

I agree the viking.. the old flat ones that is, are sweet. great tight wooded flip up to flat, turn then fade disc. got a beat in old flippy light weight one and i just cant seem to take it our of my bag!
