The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

We are going to open a pro shop (in what was the pro shop for the ball golf course that The Ponds at Lakeshore was built on) soon. We plan to have a significant inventory of discs and lots of fun stuff to do plus some refreshments. We do not plan to sell on line, as we don't want to be in competition with our DGRUS supporters.

I'll be asking folks here for advice about a number of decisions we'll need to make. Here's the first question: What should we call it?

Please share your name suggestions here.

Area 51
It could be the first in an expanding number of retail locations, of course, called: The Chain Store

The Leading Edge

Flight Site

Throwin' Zone
Start Here
Hole #19
oh yeah where do i put in my application?
Playing Through
I also like Hole 19
"Area 51" sounds cool. "Leading Edge" belongs to Bob from Orlando. "Hole 19" doesn't sound that creative to me....sort of blah...in my opinion.
Lakeshore is 24 holes anyway
Sheila likes The Basket, or maybe In the Basket.
Nice Approach

Solid Chains

Holed Out
The Lilypad (the course is called The Ponds)

Discs to Go

Michigan Disc Golf Hall of Fame and Pro Shop

Plastic or Plastic (a play on the phrase paper or plastic)

Frog Golf Pro Shop (ya know...frogs and ponds kinda go together)

Wolverine Disc Golf (Is the University of Michigan close to this course?)

Spartan Disc Golf (Is Michigan State University close to this course?)
Peter Pan park in Emporia, KS; there's a house right next to the course we refer to as the 19th hole.
