for me its just being outside, i hate being inside on a beautiful day and disc golf gives me another reason, and a very good one at that, to go outside and play also i enjoy meeting people and just hanging out with someone ive never met before and knowing that we'll probably not ever hang out outside of the course but thats ok with me i think it's great to just meet them because youll never know who you'll meet out there, as a matter of fact i've met and played with Chef Nathan Lippy and his dad before, both very awesome people to play with
The ability to improve and get the shots done.
It inspires me to get those difficult shots to work.
It's great physical activity.
Getting older I can't dunk a basketball anymore, or run like I used to.
But I can improve in this game.
A round like tonight that was so relaxing. I didn't play that well but I was with good friends and we were all just out challenging the course. There were good shots and bad shots but it didn't really matter because I was among friends and we were all there to have a good time. That is what it's all about. Being able to relax and enjoy a beautiful Colorado day in a T-shirt while hurling plastic objects in the wind. There were a few good shots as well.
It's also nice to hear from the guys who went to a tourney over the weekend and played in snow. Ask them how they did and get all of the good stories.
