The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Just got the news from a friend about a disc golfer who this past week ran afoul of the law in a big way. Pulled over with a lot of something that he shouldn't have had in his car. And I mean a lot. The kind of thing that you might have heard in the past relating to certain NFL players. Here is the link...

I don't know if anyone else on here knows him or has played in a tourney with him. Before he got really good I actually used to beat him. That was of course a long time ago. I guess that somewhere along the line he made some bad choices. All that I can say is "What was he thinking?". Not the best publicity for disc golf. He should have a lot of time to think about things now.

Hey, I know that no one is perfect. I'm just trying to see if anyone else knows Jeff or has played against him, etc. I always liked Jeff and I last saw him maybe a year ago. I knew that he liked to smoke a bit but I had no idea he might be involved in something like that. Almost 80 pounds is no small amount. I for one believe that if it were just legalized then we wouldn't see things like this in the news. I don't want to spark (no pun intended) the same old debate on the subject. I was just in a bit of disbelief when I heard this news.

Last time I looked he was rated something like number 40 in the world.
sorry
It's all good. We are definitely a very diverse community. I also realize that playing disc golf for a living is very difficult at best. I would have maybe chosen a different day job however.
"My client merely found these drugs and was in fact....on his way to turning them in"

All kidding aside...That is a life changing event!!!
Hey Your Honor Man!!!
Well Jeff is inactive and has number 17682
AWESOME way to promote the sport!
Maybe some advice next time you are driving with 80 pounds of something you shouldn't have in your car.

Slow down!
Medicinal purpose perhaps.
LOL, it was obviously for personal use only.
Obviously
obviously he was not thinking.
