You obviously didn't see yesterday's discussion about input on the new ads.
It's a free site, and it's cost 1,000's$ to get up and running.
no. didn't see it. just wondering,
thanks.

Just playing around to see how they work. I need to monetize this place, but I want to do it without terrible disruption. Not sure if Google Ads is the way, but we made $6.70 so far today.
I think it's alright if the site gets paid for by advertising.

Thanks. The Google ads alone won't do it, but they're a start at actual revenues.
Sorry to hear you are losing money! We don't want that!
Is it the cost of your time to maintain, or hosting? both? or ???

No ads please! We don't want this to be like the new PDGA wastesite! I'd be way more willing to pay a fee than get ads jammed down my throat or up my a$$, if you get my drift. I hope others feel the same way, Dendog } >
Terry Calhoun owns this site and pays for it. I would rather the ads paid the expenses of the site than Terry. I am trained to ignore ads I'm not interested in. It is no bother to me.
Ad's that are well placed and are site appropriate should be a welcome source to keeping this great site running. I think as long as natural male enhancement ad's are left off the site there would be no problem. Plus I don't blame terry one bit for trying to lighten the financial load.
thank you, google, for sponsoring a site to keep us disc golfers informed and in touch.

Well, you are aware that you ALWAYS have been able to contribute to this site to help pay for the finances. I know that I have donated some money. Have you????

What do you think, if I've offered to pay a fee? C'mon man, get real!
I don't find these ads offensive because they are small & don't JUMP out at you! Just my opinion, I could be wrong! Dennis Miller
