Hey Terry, if we click on them then thats when you make some cash? Cos ill go crazy clickin on them then!
I'm with Hootie... if all i have to do click the add for you to get some coin, i'll happily sit here clicking a few ads each time i log on.

I don't expect anyone to pay for this site by themselves. Having said that, i would do almost anything to avoid a fee as Dendog suggested. Surely you can avoid the ads if you don't agree with them.
I didn't see the ads until i read this thread!!!!!

Keep up the great work Terry, but don't do it at a great cost to you. The ads are okay by me. Even banner ads don't bother me if they achieve their purpose..... $
Do NOT, please, click on the ads unless you would otherwise have clicked definitely not to make the network more money. That would violate Google's rules. We're doing fine with regular traffic and clicks. Thanks!
OK, sorry.
Also, sorry for those who do not like ads, but this site is definitely going to have ads; some combination of Google ads (maybe) and direct disc golf-related ads, probably.

I definitely want to hear reactions to them. If you hate them and I leave them, it is NOT because I am not hearing you. There are two things I want to avoid:

(a) People having to pay to access the site; and
(b) Selling stuff myself. (As that would compete with all the small retailers, who I support.)

I don't see any way around that but for advertising.

If you HATE ads - Get the FireFox Web browser and add to it the (free) Ad Blocker software. It works like magic - you'll browse sites and never see the ads and the sites reformateded in a way that you'll never even notice they're gone!

Hearing you loud and clear. ;)
