Alright Folks.... Another curiousity killed the cat question.....

I bought a Discraft Avenger SS FLX on a recommendation (Thank You Eric Day!) and have been throwing the Poo out of it in a field the past 3 days. Now, My BEST drive to date using various Innova drivers was about 320-330 ft with a Star Vulcan on a completely uncontrollable (for me) hyzer line. I had NO discs that I could break the 300ft mark with, CONTROLLED.

This Avenger SS FLX is AMAZING to me because it is giving me the confidence in my drives I have been looking for. Threw it tonight out to about 325ft from on a slight down hill slope. The best part is when I decided to rip it back the other way and put it 10 past where I threw it from, Uphill. The Avenger SS FLX is giving more and more confidence everyday I throw it. Which is Exactly what I have been looking for for where I am at in my game.....

Which Brings me to the Question, What is YOUR FAVORITE disc and WHY??? What do YOU throw best and HOW does it give you the confidence to go for those shots you wouldn't take without THAT disc????

What's the FLX plastic like?

I am a bum and am inconsistent, my favorite throws to watch fly definitely come from the Vulcan.  Looks like it's going way right, then comes back to where you aim and doesn't lose much speed at all during the fade.

Longest throw came from Star Roadrunner, but sometimes that takes off on me, I hook everything, try to fix it by aiming left then I just screw up completely.

Pro Katana looks awesome, perfect helix turnover and zips - but Nuke SS does the same thing only better.

But final answer - Star Vulcan.  As much as I am beginning to dislike Innova (stopped myself from ranting), it's just amazing to throw and watch.  Praise to the person who designed it.  Whoever made the Star Katana mold, however...

Still waiting for Innova to respond to my email. lol

Discraft ESP FLX plastic..... I don't know how to describe it other than to say it feels to me like a gummier Innova Star Plastic. Imagine a little more pliable, gummier Star Vulcan and there is the ESP FLX plastic, IMO. My Favorite plastic at this point. Feels AWESOME.

Have you thrown Lat 64 Gold Line?  If so how does that compare to FLX?
Yes I have. Still a bit Gummier, softer, tad grippier than Lat 64 Gold...Its oh so good.

My star tl flies like a dream.

Everyone that knows me knows my answer "NUKE".

It gives me the distance.

It is contant in flight.

Backhand, fades left.

Forehand, fades right.

Forehand, greatest distance.

Harder it is thrown, the further and more straight it will be.

If the disc flies wrong, it's because I screwed up.

Hard to find. These Totally Rock !!!

All the discs in my bag are there because I throw them well.  These include the Shark, TL, EagleX and SL.  I'm not bad with an Aviar either :P
I had an Avenger and gave it to my "big arm" son who can do it justice. I never could get much out of it for unknown reasons. I'm really liking my new Lat-GL Flow right now, but I always rely on my Wraith and Nuke for consistency.

star destroyer, light tailwind, no wind or head wind

or a champion leopard that is extremelly predictable and controable at medium beat in

That is a awesome disc Donny but it is super hard to replace.

DONNY, Have you tried the Lat 64 River??? SO MUCH like the Champ Teebird, but SO MUCH EASIER to throw.... At least for me....
