What's your favorite MONTH to PLAY?

The month of March has been brutal to me. I guess that saying "Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb" is true for Oregon since it's been way too windy to accomplish anything great.

For me I would have to say that July is my favorite month to play; it's warm (discs go farther and you don't need to warm up your hands before you throw), it's not windy, and the grass is just dry enough for those monster skip bounces.

What are your thoughts?

Great beer (pumkinhead) , great weather not too cold and not too hot. leaves are down, new routes you couldnt take before now emerge cause they are not hidden by the leaves.

In southern Wisconsin we suffer from the winter blues from november till about...now. so as soon as the courses open up there is a general feeling of elation. Most of the courses will not open up till late April due to the thawing of the tundra but some are open now. Its great to be out throwing again, but it is a mess. Mud, massive disc hiding leaf piles and iffy weather combine to make it hit and miss till late spring. So,around here early may would probably be prime time. Good weather and the lack of Wisconsin state bird,AKA the mosquito combine for fun in the sun.

You lucky dog...that is funny! You need a sherpa guide in Wisconsin till late march. And even then...can he be trusted???

nothing beats discgolfing in Wisconsin in the month of may! i mean nothing don't even and try and think of anything because you wont be able too. too bad i normally split the weekends between discing and opening fishing, not really sure if i like sinking deuces or eatin fresh lake perch the most. but i cant really complain about that problem without sounding spoiled, so go ahead and say it, i know your thinking it.

In north Texas, you can rule out June, July, August, and September. I'd have to say March because everything starts blooming out. The only drawback would be some of the wind this time of year, and the early spring thunderstorms. Also, a side note, Texas records more tornados than any other state, but man, when there's a storm brewing and the air gets that ozone smell to it and your hair stands up on your arms because it so charged up, your disc friggin fly a mile.

Here in Clearwater FL I like Feb/ March/April, in the day it is about 85 in the sun feels like 85 in the shade, the cold fronts have stopped now and the daylight has been a nice change, come May / June / July it will be 100 around here not counting the humidity , but a small part of me likes playing in these conditions as well, you feel like your playing in a 100 degree rainforest some days

Don't forget about the bugs and mosquitos, I like all months in Florida. Even those months when it doesn't seem like the rain will ever stop.
