Forget about any disc that first came out in star or elite, or any high tech champion plastic.

Has to be before them.

Most on dgrus doesn't have a clue.

And is it still in your bag?

i use a pole cat when practicing , but it is not in my bag .
I have been throwing for over 25 years and my main mid is still a DX Cobra ( there are 2 in my bag). I've tried and used a lot of other mids, liked a lot of them, but have returned to the Cobra. Also, I'm still putting with an old 86 softee. I retired the 86 to the practice basket at least twice, but always bring it back. I had one that I had used for over 10 yrs. then one casual round it must have fallen out of the bag. Of course I backtracked looking for it but never found it. Luckily I had a spare, which is the one I'm currently using.
the  UV softie was a cool disc
I also carry 2 Cobras and use the original 86 Softie to putt with.
Cool! I see from your profile you've been playing since the 70's. Me too. started playing in Huntsville, Al. Now playing in Fl. Good to see the Cobra has some fans.

Know someone we both know that has 2 yes 2 "Champion Plastic" Cobras.

And they are sweeeeeeeet!

champion plastic is not "old school", but still great disc.

I played Frisbee golf in the 70s for 2 years. Miami Whitewater Forest west of Cincinnati. The original 18 were perfect for a Frisbee.

Love my Cobras.

DX Ram. When they were a new model it was one of my favorite drivers. Then after years of not playing, and moving to Japan where it's a 150 class game, I was given a brand new one at a monthly. It doesn't have the same place in my bag as it did 15 years ago, but it is as an overhand/scoober outta trouble disc. And for me It's pretty cool to see it towering over all my other discs in the bag.
