I'm thinking of switching to a slower speed driver, and was wondering what other players like to use.

Right now my lowest speed driver is a sidewinder, i'm thinking of going to either an eagle or a tbird. I tend to stick with Innova Star plastic, but do throw Discraft ESP plastic.

I throw z stalkers 175-176. They are my favorite driver because they hold a line so well. I know some people use them as long range mids but if you have the arm, mine push 360.
Yeah thats the issue i'm having is to much arm for the course's I play. My sidewinder lands at about 330-365 and my Mako lands at about 270 or Roc at about 300. I need something that I can throw hard and it will die out at about 310-330

Might sound crazy, but switch over the Buzzz.  I throw rocs, zones and a stratus for mids and don't carry a Buzzz, but I throw similar ranges as you and the Buzzz will get you that extra 10-30 ft  you're looking for.

Firebird would also do the trick if you've got the room for its fade.

A Star TeeBird rules!

Maybe just try to get a few more yards out of your roc.  I can throw a buzz farther than  roc.

And I also think Teebirds rule.

I love my star sidewinder, star leopard, and x express--nice slow turns
Star Roadrunner, star leopard.

Been playing for years, and finally been using the slower discs more effectively to get out of trouble and straight shots that I want a skip at the end. Most of the courses are wooded here, where distance is not that big a factor.

Every try throwing a roadrunner sidearm? Wow, tried it and the disc went not only where it was supposed to go, but seemed like "why didn't I think of this before!" Only available shot was a side arm flick, around the rough and to the basket gently some 250 feet away at an 75 degree turn or so... it was easy.
Roadrunner was a disc I used to use, but I had more control with the sidewinder, and there the same speed anyway. It is a great overhand disc though. I think I got a champ leopard somewhere in the pile I'll give it a shot.

If I could throw anything over 300 feet consistently I might be able to help you out. For me on holes 250 -300 feet I throw a champion t-bird or a z wildcat
stalker. but just put a tbird in my bag for shots that need to finish left.
