When I'm playing tournament rounds I'm in the zone! Nothing helps me get in the right state of mind like some good tunes. So, in turn I carry an Ipod with me and use ear buds. Some Blues guitar riffs while I'm warming up to get hyped, then I slow it down into some Motown or Reggae so I stay smooth, calm and collective for the round... Who's with me anyone like listening to music while they play? If so, what do you like?

i too love having my ipod jamming when i throw, however i use some external speakers so the music isn't so much in my ears. i only do that playing casual rounds, because i don't think it's to appropriate with music playing during competitive play. and reggae or Grateful Dead are my music of choice.
I have voices in my head so there really isn't a lot of room for music.

Honestly, music is alright but I don't think that I would play any better while listening to music. Might just be a distraction. There are always a lot of things to pay attention to while throwing.
Deftones, Radiohead, Tool, all depending on where I'm at on the board...
i have voices too, i listen to music to keep my head .... well outta my head! Ha
