If its for marketing, you'd think they would do a combo of both on the higher end plastic to satisfy a larger target market.

Birdie has the best stamp.
I suggest looking for custom stamps from tournaments. If you go to www.ccrdiscgolf.org we have RW PRO Rocs, San Marino GLO ROCS, Star Teebirds, R PRO Aviars, Champ Destroyers, champ wraiths, and some other stuff up with some pretty cool stamps.

That's a good theory. Beginners gravitate toward them because of price and cool graphics. Hmm..
