winter golf- stratedgies for keeping your throwing hand warm

Although we don't have too much snow as of yet in southwest Michigan, it is still pretty cold around here. Other than wearing a glove on your throwing hand which you have to remove every shot, what other methods do you have for keeping your hand warm during winter golf?

 

I came up with a new idea this season which has been working well for me. I have an old Black Diamond climbing chalk bag that is fleece lined. I can throw a couple of hand warmers in there, clip it to my belt loop and not have to deal with the minor inconvienience of removing a glove every toss. Also, as a RHBH, I hold my beer in my left hand.

I just got a pair of Under Armour gloves.  ( got pants and shirt too but this has to do with hands)  The gloves are awesome.  They don't keep my hands overly warm but they keep them at a comfortable temp.

The point of this post is to pool ideas too avoid using gloves. I never wear a glove on my throwing hand and would never try it, but I don't think that people who use them are pussies, Bear Grylls.

I thought the point of this sport was to mercilessly talk smack at any opportunity to everyone. What are your hands doing in your pocket around a bunch of dudes? You have been "looking for your keys" for days now!

Truth be told I keep my hand in my pocket and don't touch the snow with my hand because it will thaw and then the cold air will freeze it. Sometimes I use a loose work glove that slips off easily and is of no inconvenience.
