Story out of Las Vegas http://www.ktnv.com/Global/story.asp?S=11395810

You have to wonder if someone threw an accidental stray disc, or just blasted away with no regard?

Yea, I heard Chris Brown started diskgolfing.
"saying there is signage informing people about the disc golf field." hahaha "disc golf field". how many of those do you see around? ive only been to disc golf courses hahahaha . and yeah thats a nasty wound. shoulda yelled FORE a bit louder
Not Good!!!!

The city shouldn't be held responsible for this...liability should fall on the person who threw the disc.
I stress to always wait for people to clear.
I got stitches over my right eye at the World Championships!
Scott Martin, the lefty, in the playoffs...with the new CE plastic and the nice sharp flashing.
That picture looks painful...
I saw a photo of that injury from Scott Martin in the finals of Worlds. It looked like you lost a knife fight but kept on smiling. :)

That had to hurt the next morning.
I bet ya that they did yell 4!! That's why she got it in the face. She probably turned to see what was up, and POW!! I just hope some over the top bean counter. Decides to pull the course. Due to the liability issue.
Yeah me too...
Fisrt off ***************DAMM thats gotta hurt************************
Second...this course has been there for awhile and I know there are signs up that this is a disc golf course as well as a park as I have played this course before.
I'm in lack of words... That Sux...
I have a hard time believing that she was standing on the fairway ,or even close to it, when she got hit. Whoever hit her must have been way off target. Sunset park is pretty bussy, Golfers who play there need to be extra carefull.
dam that looks like mitch green when tyson busted him up in the parking lot yrs ago ...... lol
This is really sad, and it is hard not to feel bad for a person who gets injured like that. I think this is more of an injustice to the wrold of disc golf. I am sure we can all list off dozens of courses where there are basically no signs, or if there are signs they are bent over, and hidden behind a bush. Courses like this that are also picnic areas and playgrounds can be pretty dangerous for any bystander. I can think of quite a few in MI alone. It seems like when you warn the "picnicers" they usually act in a way as if you are the problem, and you are the intruder. Yet, would it be normal to go set up shop and have a picnic in the middle of a ball golf course? probably not. The best thing to do is to not throw, or wait until you have everyone's attention. I am surprised and thankful that this does not happen more often.
