Women in Tournaments... do you see them?

I've played disc all my life but never in a tournament. At 27 with more time to practice and many years of experience under my belt I think I'd like to try out a tournament. I'm curious what other women have experienced in tournaments....and what guys know about women playing in tournaments.

I played in a tournament a few weeks back and the one woman playing was in my second group and she was out driving the other guy in my group. I can honestly say i saved my ex-girlfriends marriage by getting her to play with me and a few buddies. And then her husband tagged along and they have been happy ever since. I see woman at the local courses all the time so woman do play, but you just have to find them.
