I'm ready for some World Cup. Looks like one awesome party in South Africa. Timmy may not get a new pair of legs but Lassie will be there to help Timmy out.

My Take on the Dempsey Goal against England.

He struck the ball well first of all. Slow motion shows the ball with very little spin.
Second, the shot was low and on target.
Third, the shot skipped only twice traveling about 22 yards.
Fourth, the second skip was just in front of the goal keeper. Kinda an in between hop in baseball.
Fifth, the field was a little wet.

Put all of those together and the English goal keeper not getting squarley in front of the ball and you have the resulting goal.

USA vs. Slovenia up next on Friday. We really need to get a win and get the 3 points.
