I figured you guys might be more gentle than the pdga forums about worlds.

My kid and I are going and I still have not seen a break of the A and B pools for Open players? Will it be by ratings as in the past? Alphabetically? Are there plans to announce this before we get there or will it be at registration? I know the first day for Open is on tee times so not a big deal but with the two of us sharing a car it might be good intel to have. I have two rounds at Bradford and he has one on a tee time so if its late afternoon...the kid is caddying!

There are no A&B pools in Open until the first round is over. Top 72 scores become A pool and bottom 72 in B pool. For tee time groups on Day 1, usually the top 18 rated players are each in a different group with the remaining players placed randomly. You may see the tee time groups by Friday before player check-in but they may want to wait until check-in is mostly completed so they have the final player pool nailed down.

Thanks Chuck, appreciate it.
