wraith speed

I always thought that the wraith was a speed 11 and the destroyer was it faster brother at 12. I was looking at some discs I had and my star max weight wraith says speed 12 right on it, is this a misprint  or do some come out at different speeds. It flies different then my other wraith but that is a 2 year old 167 star.

Hmmmm. My latest Innova ratings chart AND the Innova Website BOTH say the Wraith is Speed Rated at 11.... Strange. Do they do special runs of discs with different ratings than Normal? Or maybe it is a Misprint.... How old is your Wraith?

Even though they say it is a misprint it still flies way different and I will believe that it is a different disc, I think it is like a fast predator.

I think it's different too... I wonder if they lost the original mold.  I swear the new ones don't look like the older ones.

Like dude said, it is soooo much flater and the stability is outa this world. It does feel kinda gummy compared to other wraiths I can throw a clean smooth turnover quite a ways with other wraiths this one I call my "J wraith'' cause that is how it flies. I think the rim is sharper as well, it is my thumbscrew disc until

it learns to behave like his brothers

I had a "J" hook Wraith as well, way too overstable for my arm. Traded it out with a buddy for a C line TD, love it. I have thrown the Wraiths with the 11 speed marked on them, sweet disc.

Thats it Brandon, they lost the mold. You would be surprised how many molds have been lost at the Innova factory.

The speed difference was an error in the stamp design.  Kind of like there's a run of Champ Teebirds now where they accidentally left Kenny Climo's sig/12x World Champ off.

Im glad im on here, and get to read this stuff. I went and bought two wraiths this weekend and would have bought the speed 12 one, if i didn't read this. It crazy how much flatter they are. I even tried to get a discount for misprinted disc from the guy selling, He told me he would sell for $3 extra cause now its a collectors item lol.
