The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Sheila and I are about to start drafting up an article for NIRSA Know, the newsletter of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association: http://www.nirsa.info/know/2009/12/index.html. This is an association of the folks who run those kinds of things on college and university campuses - facilities, grounds, and programs.

We're very interested in hearing your thoughts about the tenor of the article and about the kinds of things we should really be sure to get into it. Please share.

A big thing to stress would be how affordable disc golf is compared to other sports. Not just equipment, but also that most places do not charge to play or the cost is minimal when compared to traditional golf.

Being a former college student, money is tight. Try living on Ramen noodles, I have. Students have books, room and board and other basic necessities that eat up their funds.

Any examples of courses at existing colleges would be nice also.
