First ace of the year on 17 January. Hole 8 at Timmons Park in Greenville, SC. Hole 8 is a roughly 185' up-hill, tight shot to a speed basket (steep slope around basket). Slow fading XD putter hit the chains and stuck.

(see 2 posts below) Same guy who aced yesterday (Ken Reagan) gets a black ace today! He aced 11's basket from 14's tee pad at Veteran's Park during the ADGA sunday morning mini. LOL!

It's a chian out. Not an ace, I know, but at least I'm hitting metal, and 325' at that. Hit the basket on a 300' shot yesterday. I know, it's not an ace , but the year is just started.

"....what's a splash out ace? is that even an ace?"

I'd have to say that it's an oxymoron; much like "jumbo shrimp", "plastic glass", and "down escalator." :-)

I did witness a beautiful ace yesterday at Fritz Park in Irving, TX. Ken Reagan hit #9 from the alternate teepad during the mini. It was worth $300.....well $240 after he paid the 3 of us on his crd our $20 split. Ace on!

I haven't aced yet this year,(hopefully soon!). But last night I witnessed a GLO ACE! Definitely one of the coolest aces I have ever seen. Thanks for the entertainment Carlo.

If you mean a chain out, then that unfortunately is not a true ace. A hole in one by definition is exactly that. A chain out would require one more stroke to finish.
