This week we are heading out to Rolling Hills to soak in the majestic splendor and tight fairways that Ypsi’s finest call home. This round will undoubted call for some of our best side games and shenanigans. We will be meeting up around 5:30 and plan to tee off by 6:00 SHARP, Last man tax in effect for those whom get hit by the traffic stick.

Avast me harties the Kaptain be takin the helm this week, and those who made their means be known have set us a course for the familure shores of BRATS in Ann Arrrrrrbor.  Make wake to the docks to be counted amongst yee mates as we set sail at the crack of 6 other wise ye be left a shore to swim shark filled waters.  I'll keep me unpatched eye open for you.  YO-HO

So gents I have heard and seen such talk of discord against the choice of park that has been set for the First ever East VS West 24 Cha!ns round this Sunday.  I too wish it were not such drive, but see it as a offer of fair will from those who have had their fair share of fun in the sun.  There are a many fine players who have helped to grow the ranks of both the flag ship of our great 24 Cha!ns AKA West Side who have traveled long and far to make rounds with us.  These great warriors have shown their salt and now it is time for us to show our commitment to them in honor of their efforts to help launch another ship of scoundrals in the East. So band together to show them love, and respect.  It is the least we can do here on board the SS Not That Far to show these land lovers what it means to be a true Pirate.  After all we will be the ones to steal all the booty, and take home the honor of the first ever East VS West Challenge.  Our hour plus drive will be far easier then their few minute drive full of tears when we show them how to play 24 CHA!NS style

Addison Oaks this Sunday folks! East is going to eat you all up, no way is your game going to mean a thing at this challenging course. 

Addison is in Lenord MI. 

I know it's a long way and most of you are thinking that this is right out in left field but this is double points.  Consider this to be a great opportunity to visit a course you havent played before and visit the folks playing on the east side.  A tribute to our traveling new courses.  Only this time you are rewarded for it with points.

That said,  let's talk about a few matters that seem to have popped up. that i seem to have over looked.  There is a parks pass that needs to be purchased for this course similar to Rolling hills or indy lake has.  This is specific to Oakland County.  So if you live in Oakland County it is only 5 dollars to get your car parked.  However if you do not live in the county it is a wopping 10 dollars.  To circumvent this situation I am willing to purchase a pass.  And will bus people to and from a car pool lot or a near by store parking lot and get you all in with out fee.  Contact me at raymond.karle@gmail.com or get at me on Facebook or the scene. or Contact Gabe or Miah or Rob and Dave regarding this matter.  They will be informed of this matter.

THE OFFICIAL KAPTAINS WORD

 

 

HERE YE HERE YE!!!!! The battles have raged from sea shore to sea shore in the first year of the jolly old 24 Cha!ns Bag Tag Challenge. Many have fought, and many have fallen. Some have fought the unending waves of challengers to destinquish themselves as the mightiest of Pirate Clan. There actions have set them apart, but not granted them any safety. For there lay one last challenge in their path.

Sunday August 5^th 2012 Bandomeer Park Ann Arbor, MI at 10 AM they shall face their final challengers. The first season of 24 Cha!ns Bag Tag comes to a close in a last dash for the #1 tag. One, and all are welcome to come out and join us for a three round challenge to see who has the guts to represent 24 Cha!ns at STATES this year. Even if you didn't participate in the Bag Tag you are welcome to come out and join us for some fun rabble rousing, and of course shinanagins as so well done by 24 Cha!ns.

A few point that should be noted. As this is the last chance to challenge for #1 all tags are encoraged to come challenge, but the top 20 TAGS will be required for the day. If you hold one of the TOP 20, and wish to play in the next round you will need to show up, or put up your tag for the day. If your tag is not submitted for play on the 5^th you will not be eligible for play in the next round of bag tags.

So be ready for fun, and sun, and that little special “you know what” that 24 Cha!ns brings to every game. Happy hunting and

Friday’s game Brown Park @ 5:30

   This Friday the 13^th we take our game to the roots of Ann Arbor disc golf and play the hands down best course in town, Brown Park!.  This course has had more play than a flock of seagull’s album at Miah’s prom and we hope to come out and hit our ever bleeding ace pool which currently stands at a touch over the cost of a #5 at McDonalds.

   Being that the Pirates find glory and fun no matter where the ship sails I would highly assume that .25, Dirtys and maybe get in a round of Ript Revenge?.  We had better come up with something good for this is not only Friday the 13^th but also the kick off to Elvis Fest!..

$5 Friday at Bandemer 5:30 Meet / 6:00 Tee

This week we are heading out to Bandemer park in Ann Arbor to play our First Friday $5 round. We will be meeting up at 5:30 and Teeing off at 6:00 Sharp. We will try and squeeze in 27 holes around the casuals out here and maybe even help the local law enforcement track down the flasher. Dirtys, .25 and maybe other unknown side games will be in effect for this B-Day round and all Pirates should raise their glasses and wish Mr Even a Happy day as he passes through another year.
