The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

When I got back into playing last year after a 20 yr hiatus after my first 5 rounds ever in 1988 I thought I knew how to throw the discs and would make a big splash in the pond so to speak. Well I did make a big splash in the pond and had to retrieve the disc from the drink. I guess the ego got beaten down that first day and second and third. I finally started to gain control and have been improving with each throw now. I know that I may not win a National Tourney but I know that I have fun and the group of peeps in the club keep that fun going and I hope that I keep it going for them as well..

right on man keep playing, i myself suffer from short drividis syndrome lol, my backhand drives rarely reach out farther than 300 feet, all my buds can throw 350 to 400 pluss, but im not giving up either, now if i could just find that holy grail chain self seeking putter or put technique, hmmm
