Wedge Aces

Say goodbye to wedge aces at PDGA sanctioned tournaments. Not allowed anymore as of 2011. We can still count them though for 51 club right?

Got my 4th ace of the year at Terramont Park on #2. 225 ft. on a steep uphill. Another sidearm skip ace. Was in a mini tourny and doing a playoff for second. We both birdied #1 and moved on to #2 and gave it a good pull to get up the hill, skipped in front of the basket and went in. 24 aces altogether now. Heres hopeing I hit that $500 ace pot this saturday in Beaumont.

Got my 3rd ace of the year on #10 red tee at MacGregor. 285 ft. with low ceiling. Threw a sidearw off to the right, skipped up and landed in the chains. Was o0n a foursome card and they were 51. My Brother was talking in my shot and when i released, he told me he was sorry and I told him dont worry about it and CHING! SI now have 23 aces altogether. All 3 this year have been on a holiday. New Years Day, Cinco De Mayo, and now Fathers day. Im playin 4th of July for sure.

So that makes 7 aces for the club in May.( including Kory's wife ) Thats pretty nice i must say. Know it will go up throughout the year. Still hopeing for that $500 ace I missed at Windwood. Hope I can pull off a 1 to write on my scorecard at the McDade tourny June 11th. Would be nice to get $500 just for a throw. Good luck to all players in June. Now go out and hit some aces!

Shortest hole on the coarse, I think 125 feet.

I doubt if husband and wife have ever hit an ace on same hole. Incredible coincidence. How far away was the basket? Family that aces together stays together.

Today's Ace was a special one for me. Hole 16, Reed Canal Park. I throw and hit the Ace, then my son Skyler throws and hits metal, then my wife throws and hits an Ace. Ace - Metal - Ace. It was unbelievable.

My Ace - Classic Roc - 3rd of year, 10th overall.

My wife Tina's Ace - Aviar - 1st Ace ever.

Has anyone heard of a husband and wife hitting an Ace on the same hole in the same round??
