Sweet, sounds like a winner. Not sure if I'll be able to be there or not, I think I'm going to Talkeetna this weekend to fix up the cabin. If not, then i'm there.

Yarn or tape should work. A lot of us have a spotter when we got out and play. When the spotter finds the disc, they pull it out and tombstone it as they get thrown. I've already lost a few discs this year and one was with a spotter.

So I have learned my lesson about playing golf in the snow.... My buddy lost (i loaned it to him) a black pro-d cyclone on hole one...off the the left, a short hyzer that must of dug in pretty deep. I lost a purple champion firebird with a lonestar am champs stamp on it on hole 5, I threw a hyzer that was to wide and came in long hitting that group if trees across the small field...if any one wanders upon, I would be in your debt ... Both disc marked with MikeB 8172285938 wrapped around the center... is there any local method to not loosing disc in the snow??? I heard somewhere about taping colored yarn to the bottom of your disc, does that work>?

Nice to have you with us Mike, it would be great to have another fellow disc golfer join the ranks. Please look at our site and http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/Saturday_League_2009 for more info about the club and feel free to contact Brian, Louie, Som, Jamie, or myself if you have any other questions.
