This is a cool little league, and I think you will enjoy it. First, cost. It costs $1 to play. There is also an optional $1 that can be added and goes into the "ACE POOL" and if someone throws an ace.. they get the pot. Two weeks ago, Chris threw an ACE for the first time in about 8 months and he took home $200 (and used some of it to buy everyone a beer the next week). Then, Mike threw an ACE the very next week and got $26. That is just the way that it goes. The ACE POOL has now been capped at $100 and all the extra goes into Emerald Park improvements, so it is a cool fund to put money in. Even then... playing is still only $2. Totally affordable.

Second question... Rob compiles all scores on his laptop and puts them into an EXCEL spreadsheet. Your first three weeks you are not considered an official member of the league. On your fourth week.... your first three week's are averaged and those provide your handicap, and from then on, you get a renewed handicap tag every week. The most recent 7 scores are averaged to create a "living handicap" if you will, and Rob sends the score sheet to all members' email addresses every week.

So show up... it is an awesome league, and we have a hell of a time. I am in my fifth week tonight, so I am pretty new and have only had my handicap for a couple of weeks now. you show up, pay your $2 and then Rob puts you on a card... usually 4-5 folks depending on turn out... you meet some cool folks, get some pointers, have a good time... play 18 holes.... and hopefully improve.

Hi Y2K-XJ! Emerald Monday Night League currently starts at 5pm. We generally all try to be there about 4:30 - 4:45pm so that we can pay and get registered. It's awesome! Hope you enjoy it.

You all have sick courses. Flagstaff is way awesome. I got gas money on raod trips. Love to throw plastic. Lookin forward to staying in AZ

I've been looking at pics of the courses in az and i would love to rip down the fairways there.the course's look long and semi open .we have a couple course that offer open fairways and fewer tree's but the majority are more technical with small windows high and low and too many trees to count .im hoping to make it to a memorial soon.
