The Ranger explained to me that they will have plenty of overflow rustic campsites available at Wickham Park. Live right on the course. No electric or water, but cheap! The bathrooms and showers are fairly new. See you there!!!

Anyone going to the Melbourne open this weekend and want to split a hotel room Saturday nite?

If I'm not mistaken the TD has two weeks from tournament to turn in the TD report to PDGA. So after that, it's on the PDGA. Now the TD can input the score only into the website immediately, which then post. Althoughm these are just preliminary calcs are are not confirmed by PDGA until the TD report is filled and backchecked along with the course config confirmed which affects the calculation of the course rating. Then the individual scores are calculated from the course rating for the rounds.

@Matthew Monczka - Thank you! That's at least an answer, which is all I was looking for. No explanation had yet been offered.  I have seen the spreadsheet, and from what I've heard from TDs it takes an hour or two to fill out, depending on the size of the tournament.  I agree, it could be made a little simpler.  I still think that it's the TD's responsibility to sit down and do the small amount of data entry it takes to put the results in digitally, but that's just my opinion. All but 8 tournaments in 2011 that were eligible for the March ratings update made the deadline.  Two were XC-Tiers (which probably cannot be entered into the spreadsheet,) two were in Europe, and two were in Japan (I think we can cut them some slack.)

@Guydro 13 - If you must know, my rating is approaching 1000 and this tournament is likely going to help it.  I'm looking to pick up some sponsorships this year, so the timely posting of results has a direct monetary impact on me.  This tournament is, in effect, part of my resume.  Not being able to show anyone the results or ratings from this event doesn't exactly help my cause.  I'm sure you can understand.

Report has been sent to PDGA. It is your Association that is dragging their feet. If you have never looked at the spreadsheet to see how much work it is to enter all the info, then lay off. I personally think sending the info to the PDGA, and letting them enter it all is so much more worth the cost of getting the tournament sanctioned, then to sit there for 3-4 hours entering all the crap. Come on PDGA, make it much easier!
