It sounds like we have a new volunteer TD,  way to go WATERBOY.  Stepping up to the plate.

Ahh Yes, The internet and all of the anonymity it provides.

For those that don't know the variable is B Moore... if he is in it ,it is posted within a week (usually 2 days) if not the it could take some time regardless of the event and TD (or input method). That is not always 100% the case but more often than not....At least here in central Florida.

Waterboy...AMEN!  I see the Melbourne results. Tournament players come to expect to see everyone's "unofficial" results a day or two after we play.

@waterboy, just give the PDGA a call and ask them to hurry up and get the scores in.They work for you and the other players.
Comment by Waterboy on February 27, 2012 at 10:18pm

You are right, the TD gets to choose how he submits the scores.   However, that does not mean that you get to throw up your hands and pretend it's the PDGA's fault that he has chosen the slowest possible method of reporting.     It's a rough time for all of us financially, but frankly, anyone can get internet access... the library has internet access, or perhaps you could assist, Matthew, you seem to have plenty of internet access.  There is no excuse for being the only tournament in this hemisphere that is not reported.

PS.  Melbourne Open results are up.

@Waterboy let me address some of your questions. Bob handles his business the way he wants to handle his business. That is one of the joys of being an entrepreneur. He has options when running a tournament for the players. He can electronically submit scores or send them to the PDGA via the mail. Typically the PDGA will input those as official scores. Don't worry, your arbitrary number that is computed to tell you how well you played compared to John E, will be spit out soon and revealed to you. Yes, in fact, the Barnett Disc Golf Team is aware of the internet and all that comes along with it. For example, another hefty bill that many of us do without even though we work very hard during the week. If you are expecting results posted ASAP as a condition to playing a tourney, you may want to interview the TD first before entering.

Also, the pdga is only up to Dec 31st. for official results, so Hippy's 2 months sounds about right.

More than likely, the scores were sent in through the web, but the unofficial scores/ratings were not made available by the TD when doing so. Soooooo now we have to wait till the official scores/rating are done. Be patient, they will show up eventually. Maybe Bob can still go in and make the unofficial stuff available.
