I have three Innova Disc Catcher Sports in and around my property. They're easy to move around.

Well I cheaped out and bought an Instep at Sams when the basket was selling for $60 plus tax (more then a year ago). I use it almost exclusively for putting practice.

I was going to add extra chains to the basket, but haven't as yet. When I was thinking about how I would add extra chains I played around with the original outer chains from a modification I saw here at DGRUS. I used weed-eater line to "tie" up the original outer chains to make essentially a set of inner chains. I also raised the basket up 5 inches so that the height from the top chain hanger (deflector support in PDGA lingo) to the top of the basket changed from around 21.5" to 16.5". The smaller opening (target zone in PDGA lingo) does not meet the minimum PDGA target zone of 18.9" (48cm), but does create a tough target for my putting practice sessions.

I have left the chains in this configuration now for months. I practice putting on the basket nearly everyday. When I go out and play existing permanent baskets at the parks in my area, the target zones look huge! Below are a few pictures of my basket (before and after):

I have an Innova Discatcher Sport that I was able to partially buy with my winnings from last year’s Fantasy Disc Golf League. I finally got it broken free from where it was frozen to my deck and have started playing with it again. I also plan on getting a DGA Mach Lite to take to some nearby trails so I can start playing regularly again. The Discatcher Sport is portable but only barely.

My wife got me the Instep portable basket for Christmas. Pretty nice basket. One set of chains but has the spot where i can add an inner set.

Spent $5 in a raffle in the year 2000 and won a Discatcher with inner chains! A year later i won a Skillshot (2nd best prize) in a raffle, think i spent $10 or $20 that time (trying to win the Chainstar grand prize.) Haven't won anything since, but i'm not complaining!
