Since I added the "nightmare" section, I thought we should also share our personal victories. What was you best hole ever at the Branch? Or best round ever?

Hole 6 without the mando! You told me it could be done and Sunday the dream came true! All three times I played it I tried the route you suggested and all 3 times I clearded the lake! Sunday however with Zenputter spotting I crushed it just missing the ACE, causing Shawn to scream out, and landed just 4 feet behind the pin for my 1st Duece on the combined hole!
In the same round on the Clump I dropped a bomb over the clump passed the big sticker bush that sticks out on the right! Even though nerves and a swirling wind helped me to miss the duece putt Shawn said he'd never even seen Azato throw it that far on that hole before! Which was a dream compliment!
Those are some awesome drives Obi! The wind was interesting for the round Sunday-it was coming from the east, which is opposite the predominant wind pattern! Mose didn't like it, but shot well anyway. Margillo dropped two of the biggest bombs I have seen on the clump hole, sounds like he was right about where you were, but a little to the left! Ironically I showed a few people on 6 the route and there were more deuces!

Thanks John Henry for helping make this event a success. I got so wound up in running the event, I couldn't get out to the putting contest! Everyone LOVED those events, thanks so much for doing that!

Guess my success story starts here...I have to admit that there was a certain amount of jitters and uneasiness about running the event and trying to play well. As for my success this weekend, I somehow ran the tournament, shot good enough to get in the lead group, and claim 4th place all to my own (out of all 69 players that showed!). Shot two 55s for a 110 on the day. Not great golf, but good enough to say, not bad. I was suprised by lots of the scores out there-especially people who have shot a lot better out there in the past. The Mose-typical Mose...Shot a 47 to break the course record, and the a 49 with a couple boges and a missed putt or two. Margillo and Brentlinger edged out, but it was a blast anyway. I was just happy to shoot my two 55s! It was nothing spectacular, but a small success for me none the less! After parting like a rockstar, sustaining threw the day was an accomplishment!

See you all on the course!
I hope to have some "success" in the upcoming tournaments this year at the Branch...It is tought running the tournament and trying to win, but we'll see...
