CHAMPION, STAR, OR DX, WHICH PLASTIC DO YOU FELLOW LOVERS OF THE BEAST PREFER, AND WHY ?

as i stated in an earlier post, i prefer champion plastic for its durability, i have had dx beasts in the past, but i havent bought or thrown a star one yet, i am still curious though as to its flight characteristics and they compare to the other plastics, i have some other models in star plastic and have found the star plastic to be not as durable as champion plastic, and as it generaly now costs more than champion plastic, i haven't felt the urge to drop down the extra bucks for less durable plastic, but hey, some of you might have a convincing argument as to the superiority of star plastic over champion.

so wear do you guys weigh in on this ?

I like the durablity of the Champion plastic, but I seem to throw dx plastic better. It must be the grip.

I also like the durablity of the Champion, but can throw the dx Beast better. I feel that it's not to much money and i'm not to upset if one goes in the water. Had two Star Beast and got some pretty good D with them but both found the water and there almost three times as much in price

I prefer the champion beast to any other beast. The first edition champion plastic is the best for me because they are more overstable and slow to beat up. Second to that would be the ones made out of the new champion plastic. The stars have a nice feel but they lose their stablity much quicker (softer plastic) and seem to start out less stable.

I've thrown both star and champion beasts. I love to throw the star over the champion for a couple good reasons. On a really hot, humid day, the star beast is going to give you a more secure grip to get your release point more consistently accurate. The same could be applied to a rainy day. I've played tournaments where is was pouring and I could not grip the champion plastic quit as good, and it has slipped various times. Star plastic has always had the great grip I need, time and time again. I will throw both on a neutral day, though more constantly I'll throw star.

Champion (gummy preferred) or Pro Line, I find that I get better snap from Champion plastic than any of the others that I throw. I'm not a big fan of the DX because it seems to stick in my hand and I find that its less consistent, but members of the Red Line Crew throw it and love it because it takes less time to season a disc (5-10 trees LOL). I personally like my disc to stay very consistent so I don't have to add new plastic to my bag as often, so for me its all about Champion plastic. I think its more feel than any thing, just find one that works for you and run with it.

I have a DX, Champion, and Star. The star is the best for me i can throw it farther and its just beautiful the way it flies :)
The Dx and Champion for me is like throwing a metal plate at the ground just sucks.

I've only thrown the Champion plastic Beast and I have no reason to want to throw anything else. The Champion plastic is durable, consistent and predictable. Plus, mine has a sick dye job.
