I gave up talking to Detroit Parks and Rec about ten years ago when it became apparent that there was little or no financial support for a course in Detroit. I would be delighted to lend whatever assistance you require. I'd like to see the PDGA and manufacturers taking an active role in promoting a more diverse player base, and Detroit is an ideal place to start.

Hello everyone. I have previously worked with the Detroit Public Park Department through the development of Jane - Lasky which was Phase 1. Phase 2 was to develop a family center on 8 Mile between Ryan and Mound Roads. The economy tanked and Kwame wasn't playing nice with the citizens who voted him in office so all future development was placed on hold. Phase 3 was a Belle Isle proposal. In the past I worked with specific park personnel and would like to know if anyone has had any conversations with them to date or is this at the initial planning stages. Initially, I had a few holes already walked off but would like to know the status firste before we jump too far too fast.
