He hit the side pool - I think $3,500 or something. You had one chance in your round to hit it for $10Gs.

I heard about Rich's 409ft ace at westmoreland. I would have paid to see that one, keep it up Andrew for the Ice Bowl.

Harold's ACE is 1 of the BEST EVER.
I like the Shadow that you can follow all the way until the Disc & Shadow MEET at the Basket.

We had an overall competition in 1993?? We bought a $10,000 hole in one policy for $500. If you hit the ace in the round, 10 Gees! There was a $3,500 side ace pool for $1 a shot. Everything had to be videotaped to payout.

We were throwing from a veteran's memorial on top of a hill. The shot was about 550 ft. The video is pretty awesome.

Of course a skinny mustached kid, Harold Hampton hits the hole in one and the group on top of the hill goes crazy. I think it's in the air for 7 seconds.

I know he's looking for a place to post the video. This one will be hard to beat - for cash, distance, and max time aloft. I think there was about 150 feet elevation drop. There's a lake in the background that people were landing in - like 600 ft away.

Jenny or Bruce may have a copy at Final 9.

Harold will have the exact stats.

Sweetest Ace I have ever seen. Thrown Perfect. You knew right away that it was on the line. And then too see it collect in the bottom of the basket was PURE genius.

nice work Pure.
witnessed a 410ft ace
thrown by our pal Garyl
with an XD on a pretty blustery day.
The hole plays down hill with a treeline guarding
against the power hyzer approach
the disc was released with plenty of height
got caught in the cross current
tore down the fairway
and flexed ever so slightly at the end
for its ceremonial basket-resting finish.
certainly a crazy rip.
