Oh the shame. At Lake Fayettville in AR, hole 7 is a straight shot, 350" flanked with two huge rows of pine trees. I had been playing all of about six weeks, and I really was trying to get a pull on this one, and grip locked it about 60 degrees to the right of where I was aiming. The disc ricocheted off an overhanging branch, and directly into the hole 6 basket. Luckily, I was on my own, so only my shame and the scar on the tree bear witness.

This is actual and true. Around five or six of us were teeing off on hole 14 in NEC in Clearwater. The second person up throw his shot it turned over on him and black aced hole seventeen. We all laughed and he paid everyone their five bucks. The best part is the last thrower threw the same shot and black aced the same hole. I made ten dollars for being there and having a great laugh.

Mike B, don't buy that minus ace stuff, once it's in, it's in for life. Although, the black ace I recorded did not get counted as one of my aces, nor did the disc get retired like the other aces, it was just a funny day.

This is true, I did in fact see this black ace.
What makes it even funnier, is that I've hit one black ace as well, and it was this same hole. I was playing with my brother Steve and my buddy Gary, and it happened in front of the Old Man and Tom P. and a couple others. They were laughing and telling me I owed the guys on my card five bucks a piece. :p

Several years ago I was playing the Saturday mini at Lewisville (TX) Lake. Holes 11 & 12 kind of face each other with basket 11 closer to tee 12 and basket 12 closer to tee 11. When teeing off on 11, basket 12 is almost straight ahead about 300'. Well, I put it right into the basket in the air. Nascar Dave was my witness. :o I know I'm not the only one to black ace that as I've heard many stories about it including a guy in my disc golf circle. Gary Watts may not be too happy that I mention his name in this honorable distinction! Different course, but titleDiscs own Josh Dann has his black ace at Alex Clark Memorial Disc Golf Course in McKinney, TX. At least I wasn't with a huge card like Josh and Gary were!!

I've never had a black ace or at least have yet to get one. But my understanding of the black ace is that its a negative ace(-1 in all lifetime achieved aces). Is this true? Example 2 aces + 1 balck ace= 1 ace.... am i correct in thinking this way?

Hole 10 Gillies Creek in Richmond, VA. It's about a 280' dog leg left. Hole 12's basket is about the same distance almost straight ahead, but there is a substantial wall of trees, vines and bushes imbetween 10's fairway and 12's basket. I punched through and went right in.

Not real hard for me, I'll get you some pictures later. Two holes out here have poor tee placements with previous baskets in the line of fire. Talk about some loud, point blank chain clanging!!
