Well folks, sorry to say not sure now when i will get up to Black mouse again, I actually looked forward to the Sunday Monthlies, but for some reason the powers that be are changing it from Sunday to Saturday, think that will help attract more people? hate to say 'your dead wrong on that" < I know not nice, but so bet it.
Its sad, but that is how it goes.
Why change monthly to Saturday? because the rest of the sell out clubs have theirs on Saturdays?
I think most you will gain is like 4 players at best.
or maybe even 5 if that. Maybe I am wrong? time will tell and I hope so.

Maybe someone should start a Sunday Morning doubles up at Black Mouse?

If I offended anyone(TJ,etc) so sorry, but its the true man

Nevermind, unless I'm wrong... but I just checked the other thread (should've checked that one first) and it's still on for Sunday! (Phew!!!)

What was the conclusion to the meeting last Sat... Are the monthlies going to be on the 3rd SATURDAY of each month, or will they continue to be on Sundays?

with time/light constraints and safety of play that is a bad idea. would be fun on our own, but not with a full course. too dangerous and would confuse and slow down play tremendously. 18 holes x 4 per card is 72, that is pretty much max that course can handle. remember, it's not wide open like de la, you cant see discs coming at you very well. good idea for a monthly or dubs though!!

What about a 27 hole layout? A late afternoon discussion at the course bench recently brought about the concept of designing a backwards safari 9 hole course. Play the regular 18 then turn around and play the final 9 safari! Obviously this would have to be well regulated since holes would be used more than once, etc, and from different directions. But hey! With spotters and some cooperation, it could be insane! I've got at least 4 holes in my brain that I have to play...
