Disc Golfers do Good

We contribute to our communities in a lot of different ways. Food gatherers and other charity tournaments are what come to mind. Blood donation is another way, though not usually done in a group.

Let's get a count of how much blood has been donated in aggregate by the DGRUS community. I know there are more out there. If you've ever donated blood, even once, join up, and encourage others!

Comment by Gnome Hunter on March 12, 2009 at 12:07am: you kno its really strange actually. i was just talking to a friend at school and i decided i was going to start donating. i called up the ppl to start doing it and evrything today. then i look on this sight and some one started this group. i think its a sign that im definately doing the right thing :)

Comment by wayne durb on March 11, 2009 at 9:12pm: i have been a loyal donor since 1986 my navy days. today i am the blood drive coordinator at gilmore memorial. i don't have the exact amount but I'm near 3 gallons. remember the donation of blood is a gift of life.
